Kinetic Autumn Fern Beach Stone Statement Necklace

As a first go at more dramatic texture, this is perhaps in my top five favorite pieces of all time. These fern leaves are heavy and were hand sawn from the forms of three real fern leaves. Each was fully veined (note veins on each and every leaf) and carefully (and painstakingly) textured.
Highlighting the beautifully contrasting patina are tumbled, but matte, beach stones. These black stones have a beautiful texture that adds depth to the piece, without detracting from the botanical elements.
This necklace is kinetic. The leaves are kinetically attached to the central stone, so they can move. The bottom one is free to swing left and right. The side fern leaves will move up and down, creating a "v" of different widths based on how high or low it is worn. It looks lovely worn near the longest point, which is 19.5" (with the bottom fern adding 2.25" to the length). The fern is likely to sit in your cleavage, if you have a sexy top or dress. However, it can be worn higher, which spreads the side fern leaves. This effect is stunningly beautiful, as it has more of a fan effect.
The chain is fully handmade. Bar chain begins lower, toward the beach stones. These links have mobility in two directions, though their joints permit some movement in all directions for optimal flow when worn. The necklace is finished with links for adjustability and can be worn quite high. The piece is finished with a soft shine, and the links are fully oxidized and polished.
This necklace is a show-stopper, no question. One of a kind and absolutely lovely on.
Note: If you are rough on your jewelry, you will want to treat this with gentle care. While sturdy, elements should never been twisted, torqued, bent, or pulled/yanked.
All of my work, unless copper or brass (you'd see the difference), is 0.925 sterling silver.
Please review shipping and return policies prior to purchase (see link at the top of the page).
US Domestic shipping prices on purchases over $100 include USPS shipping and insurance. International buyers who wish for insured postage are welcome to ask and I can obtain pricing through UPS; you would pay the additional charges. UPS across waters (i.e. not in Canada) are quite high with insurance, but I understand shipping during covid has made many of us nervous.
