Multi-Layer Art Nouveau Nasturtium Ethiopian Opal Necklace
This is one of the more complicated pieces made for the collection. Each layer is individually sawn, then the layers are essentially weaved to create a sort of integrated flow between elements. The flowers are meant to be abstract nasturtium flowers, which are very common in Art Nouveau design.
The Ethiopian opals are quite beautiful in person. For some reason they refuse to show their beauty in still photos. If you follow my Instagram account (@oreandstonecreations) I have been sharing the videos of pieces for this collection.
This necklace measures 18.5". There is an additional 3" of extension chain with sterling silver beads at the end.
This piece is light and delicate. This is how I am able to achieve the design.
Note: If you are rough on your jewelry, you will want to treat this with gentle care. While sturdy, elements should never been twisted, torqued, bent, or pulled/yanked.
All of my work, unless otherwise specified brass or copper (will also be visibly obvious), is 0.925 sterling silver.
Please review shipping and return policies prior to purchase (see link at the top of the page).
US Domestic shipping prices on purchases over $100 include USPS shipping and insurance. International buyers who wish for insured postage are welcome to ask and I can obtain pricing through UPS; you would pay the additional charges. UPS across waters (i.e. not in Canada) are quite high with insurance, but I understand shipping during covid has made many of us nervous.
