Broadleaf Hydrangea Rainbow Moonstone Paraiba Apatite Statement Necklace Handmade Chain

Originally imagined as a big bracelet, the elements were too many for a wrist and so this piece was modified and transformed into a fully handmade broadleaf hydrangea necklace. Like other pieces with these broadleaf hydrangeas, this necklace has an elegant whimsy, and an ultra femininity to it.

This necklace has four heavy hand-fabricated flowers, two beautiful pieces of flashy rainbow moonstone, and one glowing pieces of paraiba apatite.

Each side of the necklace mirror itself. Beginning with larger hydrangeas on either side of the apatite, then moonstones, then slightly smaller hydrangeas. The necklace then shifts to lovely oval links, then mid-size links, and then smaller links, all connected by double links for stability. This adds weight, but also assurance that it is secure. At the ends of the chain are a handmade hook, and on the other side larger links without double chain for easy adjustability. at the end of the adjustable chain there is a hand-fabricated hydrangea leaf, sawn from a real leaf taken from my garden, and descending beads.

There is no element of this necklace that wasn't considered and given great care. It is one of the more beautiful handmade necklaces I've made to-date and worthy of a wedding or some other magnificent event, or even worn with jeans and a t-shirt, as a focal point.

This necklace measures 19' with an additional 2.5" for adjustment. If you wish to wear it shorter, as some might, this is possible. There is no reason the double linked chain cannot be hooked.

Note: If you are rough on your jewelry, you will want to treat this with gentle care. While sturdy, elements should never been twisted, torqued, bent, or pulled/yanked.

All of my work, unless otherwise specified brass or copper (will also be visibly obvious), is 0.925 sterling silver.

US Domestic shipping prices on purchases over $100 include USPS shipping and insurance. International buyers who wish for insured postage are welcome to ask and I can obtain pricing through UPS; you would pay the additional charges. UPS across waters (i.e. not in Canada) are quite high with insurance, but I understand shipping during covid has made many of us nervous.
