Nasturtium Fairytale Art Nouveau Multi-Stone Statement Necklace Bridal Jewelry
The creation of this necklace represents a triumph of sorts for me, as working with small stones and a large number of elements is always time-consuming and challenging. This fairytale Art Nouveau necklace is asymmetrical, but balanced perfectly. This piece reflects the heart and soul of my love for metalwork, Art Nouveau, and nature. It is pieces like this that are the reason Ore & Stone Creations exists.
The piece includes ten hand-fabricated nasturtium leaves, two anatomically accurate nasturtium flowers, and fifteen high quality stones. The stones included are: Bi-color pink/peach tourmaline (3), paraiba apatite (2), peridot (2), citrine (2), rose quartz (2), aquamarine (2), prehnite (2). The extension chain has one of each stone in bead form, finished with a small sterling bead. The backside is very sexy and eye-catching, if someone isn't caught up looking at the piece itself. The piece is heavy, but delicate at the same time and should be treated with gentle care.
Art Nouveau representations of nasturtium focus on the flow of the stems. Each element has been thought through to give the design a feeling of flow. The collection has few pieces for good reason, each piece in the collection took over a day to create, some even took over a week's worth of working hours. But it is the time and care taken that makes each and every piece unique and beautiful. This piece took over 45 hours in the studio, not including research, design sketching, and resource appropriation (and many many redos on elements to get it "just right"). It is a piece of pure magic and would look incredible on a bride, at the Oscars, or out for a nice meal with someone you love. It really is just phenomenal. No images can do the striking beauty of this piece justice. None.
This necklace measures 19", but will hang higher with the solidly horizontal central piece. 6.25" horizontal is the approximate measurement of the central piece. It is approximately 3.75" in height. There is approximately 3" of extension chain before the beaded area begins.
This piece will be shipped alone and packed exceptionally well to ensure safe arrival.
Note: If you are rough on your jewelry, you will want to treat this with gentle care. While sturdy, elements should never been twisted, torqued, bent, or pulled/yanked.
All of my work, unless otherwise specified brass or copper (will also be visibly obvious), is 0.925 sterling silver.

US Domestic shipping prices on purchases over $100 include USPS shipping and insurance. International buyers who wish for insured postage are welcome to ask and I can obtain pricing through UPS; you would pay the additional charges. UPS across waters (i.e. not in Canada) are quite high with insurance, but I understand shipping during covid has made many of us nervous.
