If you love green, this piece is probably singing your name. For me, the ombre effect of the greens adds interest- it makes you do a double or triple take to really breathe the piece in. Serpentine sits in the middle, a round piece with so much life! The green reminds me of fresh grass in spring. Then vesuvianite, which harkens to algae and some of the more foresty plants here in the Pacific Northwest. Finally, high grade peridot, with so much life in them, so much sparkle and shine, they mesmerize you with their vivaciousness.
Every element of this necklace required long thought and intention. Slow-making has made this "Living Winter" collection one of the more special collections to-date. Each fern was one collected in nearby forests while I hiked to was plucked from a tree near my neighborhood while on a walk with my corgi, Olive. New approaches and modifications to trademark elements of my designs create an identifiably Ore & Stone piece, with a beautiful new bent to design.
21.5" in length (note the middle ferns and stone are horizontal and fixed, so the necklace doesn't hang this long) with an 3.5" extension chain with raindrop peridot stones. If you would like the necklace length reduced or the extension chain removed, please make a note at checkout. Any alterations cannot be "undone" once completed, so please be sure to ask any necessary questions prior to purchase. Note: If you are rough on your jewelry, you will want to treat this with gentle care. While sturdy, elements should never been twisted, torqued, bent, or pulled/yanked.
All of my work, unless copper or brass (you'd see the difference), is 0.925 sterling silver.
Please review shipping and return policies prior to purchase (see link at the top of the page).
US Domestic shipping prices on purchases over $100 include USPS shipping and insurance. International buyers who wish for insured postage are welcome to ask and I can obtain pricing through UPS; you would pay the additional charges. UPS across waters (i.e. not in Canada) are quite high with insurance, but I understand shipping during covid has made many of us nervous.
