Sylvia the Swallowtail Butterfly Summer Abundance Necklace

An enormous amount of time and love was put into this piece. Sylvia is a swallowtail butterfly, fully hand-fabricated with a sculpted body, puncture sawn design, and brought together on layered silver. She's quite heavy.

Sylvia is flanked by flowers and ferns and has a rainbow moonstone of exceptional quality below her. On her left is a mystic dahlia and marigold and on the right a cosmos flower and mystic dahlia. All of these elements are solidly connected to Sylvia (except the moonstone, which hangs). Separate but attached, are two hand-fabricated Lady Ferns, which are then kinetically linked to sage green apatite. These stones add a beautiful, soft green glow above, without detracting from the central elements.

the chain is linked with double links for stability and has a double-sided, flat mystic dahlia which sits at the end of the extension chain. The necklace length is adjustable up to 21.5", but please take into consideration the 3.6" drop from the central piece and the moonstone, which is addition to the 21.5".

This piece sits like a dream while on and looks beautiful higher or lower on the chest.

This piece will be shipped alone and packed exceptionally well to ensure safe arrival.

Note: If you are rough on your jewelry, you will want to treat this with gentle care. While sturdy, elements should never been twisted, torqued, bent, or pulled/yanked.

All of my work, unless otherwise specified brass or copper (will also be visibly obvious), is 0.925 sterling silver.

US Domestic shipping prices on purchases over $100 include USPS shipping and insurance. International buyers who wish for insured postage are welcome to ask and I can obtain pricing through UPS; you would pay the additional charges. UPS across waters (i.e. not in Canada) are quite high with insurance, but I understand shipping during covid has made many of us nervous.
